BridgePort Realty Capital Partners Inc.(BPRCP) Acquires the Rothman Group of Companies

Ottawa (Ontario) – NOVEMBER 20, 2008 – Messrs. Hugh Gorman and Yawar Khan, are
pleased to announce the launch of BridgePort Realty Capital Partners and the acquisition of the Rothman Group of Companies including R.O.I. Properties Inc. and Progeny Management Inc. 

Progeny is a real estate service provider specializing in property management, construction management and leasing services, while R.O.I.’s core business is structuring and syndicating real estate investment transactions on behalf of its clients and on its own account. With $50M and approximately 400,000 square feet in assets under management, BridgePort Realty Capital Partners will leverage the Progeny and R.O.I. platforms to increase their property management and investment portfolios, while continuing to provide unsurpassed service to its valued investment clients and tenants.

Leading the company are Hugh Gorman and Yawar Khan, who together have over 30 years
of experience in management and business development. Mr. Gorman has spent his career working with many of Canada’s largest pension funds, landlords and private companies both as a principal and a service provider. Prior to forming BridgePort Realty Capital Partners, Mr. Gorman spent approximately 10 years with Oxford Properties Group where most recently he was Vice President, Industrial - Canada and Vice President, Global Principal Investment. At BridgePort, Mr. Gorman’s focus will be sourcing new investment opportunities, including acquiring real estate assets, land assembly and establishing redevelopment opportunities.

Mr. Khan's focus is on Corporate Affairs, including corporate governance, marketing and investor relations.  Yawar’s management experience envelopes working with large academic health science centres in Alberta and Ontario as well as working for a National membership-based company - MD Management (the financial subsidiary of CMA Holdings). His diverse experience includes start-up operations, business analysis, business development and governance.
